Seqens, a global pharmaceutical and chemical group (turnover €860 million, ~28 users), faced fragmented lease contracts across many sites and entities and needed a user-friendly IFRS16-compliant solution. They selected insightsoftware’s Lease—chosen for its integration with their existing Conso&Report and BFC Extract environment—to centralize contracts, harmonize treatment and calculate the accounting impacts required by IFRS16.

insightsoftware implemented Lease by collecting entity, currency and lessor data, building Seqens’s dedicated environment and training users. The deployment imported 300–400 contracts, delivered extensive multi-dimensional analysis of impacts on debt and EBITDA, and centralized visibility across all entities—improving negotiating power with lessors and enabling a small team to manage IFRS16 processes more efficiently while providing clearer financial and business insights.
