Recology, a leading employee-owned recycling and resource recovery company, needed a better way to handle financial reporting in its outdated JD Edwards 8.0 environment. Using insightsoftware’s Hubble alongside an upgrade to JD Edwards 9.1, Recology gained real-time access to ERP data, prebuilt and custom reporting options, and the ability for finance users to run and adjust reports without IT support. The solution also eliminated Excel exports and reduced paper use by improving PDF output, while making report storage and retrieval easier. As a result, Recology sped up financial reporting, improved data confidence, and freed staff to spend more time analyzing trends instead of manipulating numbers.
