Origami Risk Embeds Logi Symphony in Product, Breaks Free of Big BI

Origami Risk, a provider of cloud-based risk management information systems, needed an embedded, visually rich reporting and dashboard solution that fit a web-based architecture and avoided the time and cost of heavyweight BI tools. After rejecting alternatives like Crystal Reports and Business Objects for technical and usability reasons, Origami Risk selected insightsoftware’s Logi Analytics (Logi Info) to deliver flexible, embeddable analytics that could match their product UI and meet customers’ reporting needs.

insightsoftware embedded Logi Analytics into the Origami Risk RMIS to provide a customized interface, interactive ad hoc reporting, and self-service report creation; integration was seamless so users stay inside the Origami application. The result was a market-ready product in under six months, initial reporting capabilities that grew from 10 report templates and 10 dashboard panels to 50 templates and 35 panels, simplified maintenance via a single dynamic Logi template, and features like drill-through and Excel export that improved usability and adoption.
