Arkin, one of the largest mental health providers in the Netherlands, needed a better way to collect, validate, and report patient-care data across 15 clinics without relying on thousands of Excel forms. Using insightsoftware’s Power ON with Power BI, the BI team sought to improve data accuracy, protect patient privacy, and reduce the time spent manually processing information for funding and care management.

insightsoftware implemented Power ON’s Visual Planner inside Power BI, creating a single secure form and dashboard with automated validation against Arkin’s HMS data warehouse. The result was one unified workflow instead of 9,000 spreadsheet files, data validation cut to under an hour, and savings of more than 10 hours per week per user—adding up to as much as 12,000 hours annually—while reducing fines risk and helping Arkin secure funding faster and focus more resources on patient care.
