Shannon Group, the airport operator for Shannon Airport, faced slow, manual financial reporting after its separation from Dublin Airport Authority. The finance team relied heavily on Excel and manual interventions with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), had limited drill-down ability, and was constrained by cloud hosting and outsourced support. To address this, Collette Walsh’s team ran a half-day proof of concept with insightsoftware’s Hubble and chose to implement the product.

insightsoftware’s Hubble was integrated with Oracle EBS to provide single-click, fast reporting—giving quick access to currency, tonnage and passenger data—and restored control of finance reporting to business users. The deployment cut the month-end close from two days to half a day, enabled instant GL-to-subledger reconciliations and drill-downs, reduced interface reconciliation time from half a day to minutes, delivered on-demand budget reports, reduced reliance on external IT, and supported faster audits, providing real-time, accurate information to the business.
