Integrated Planning CTP and Rolling Forecast Lufthansa Cityline Flies on Fiplana

Lufthansa CityLine needed an alternative to its largely static SAP BW-based reporting environment and wanted to improve cost planning with more automation, reliability, and transparency. The controlling team also needed to replace an inefficient SAP ERP-based cost planning process, reduce manual work, and better support planning across multiple data sources.

insightsoftware implemented Fiplana to support integrated planning, rolling forecasts, and self-service BI within Qlik Sense, while also handling backend ETL and complex planning functions. The result was a much faster process with time to value in 6 months and monthly forecast/reporting effort reduced from 1.5 days to 1 day, while enabling more transparent cost unit accounting and more agile reporting.
