Albi Imports, a transportation company using Dynamics AX, faced slow, manual reporting—rekeying data into spreadsheets, limited access to real-time information, heavy dependence on IT for report creation, and constraints with Management Reporter and other Excel add-ins. To address these challenges they turned to insightsoftware and its Atlas product.

insightsoftware implemented Atlas as a replacement for Management Reporter and used its query functionality (supplemented by other Excel tools and Phocas) to report across Financials/GL as well as Sales, Inventory and Payables/Receivables. The deployment freed more than 25% of the organization’s IT support and trimmed up to 30% (nearly one-third) from their previous reporting process, delivering faster, two-way access to Dynamics data for both reporting and data uploads.
