Brown University, a private research university with a $900 million budget, faced a fragmented, manual budgeting process after implementing Workday and revamping its chart of accounts. insightsoftware implemented Tidemark using the Workday data model (going live in April 2014) for more than 120 users, consolidating multiple legacy tools into a single, shareable planning and analytics environment. The deployment delivered a unified operating budget, seamless aggregation of contributor data, driver-based iterative forecasting, and improved collaboration—allowing decision makers to see impacts in real time and make more proactive, strategic financial decisions across the university.
