Giltrap Group’s European Motor Distributors (EMD) needed to join data from its Incadea/Dynamics NAV, CRM, factory and retail systems to gain timely, actionable insight across sales, parts, service and marketing. Existing Jet Reports were static and limited by ERP performance, so the business struggled to present integrated, user-friendly analytics to managers and dealers. To address this, Giltrap Group turned to insightsoftware and its Jet Analytics product.

insightsoftware implemented Jet Analytics with a standard data warehouse and out-of-the-box cubes, using Excel as the front end and enabling a separate repository to combine multiple internal and external sources. The solution was deployed quickly—initial cubes were usable within hours and full operational intelligence delivered in weeks—giving self-service dashboards, half-hourly data refreshes, consistent KPIs across four business units and faster reporting (where reports that once took two weeks can now be produced in about 30 minutes).
