Case Study: Galvanize achieves faster data connectivity and better customer analytics with insightsoftware’s Simba

Galvanize builds and delivers award-winning, cloud-based security, risk management, compliance, and audit software to drive change in some of the world’s largest organizations

Galvanize, a leader in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) software, needed a long-term way to provide customers with access to more data sources as its platform and data requirements grew. To support reporting and analytics across ERP, cloud, and database systems, Galvanize partnered with insightsoftware and used the Simba SDK and Simba ODBC connector library.

Using insightsoftware’s Simba SDK and ODBC connectors, Galvanize embedded broad data connectivity into its HighBond platform so customers could connect their data to tools like Tableau and Power BI without building custom drivers from scratch. The project was completed in about six months, reduced development cost and complexity, improved the customer experience with built-in connectivity, and helped Galvanize eliminate adoption barriers by making access to key enterprise systems much easier.
