France Air, the French leader in air handling systems with €140 million in consolidated turnover and operations in 22 countries, relied on Excel for statutory consolidation and needed to professionalize the process, align with IFRS, improve traceability, consult multiple periods and automate publication of financial statements. After an Ernst & Young audit and vendor evaluation, France Air selected insightsoftware’s Conso & Report solution to replace Excel and meet those consolidation requirements.

insightsoftware implemented Conso & Report as a full web application with rapid deployment (two three‑day setup and training sessions and upstream consultancy), adding two custom package tabs to address IFRS points like development costs and intangibles. The rollout enabled automated production of statutory consolidated statements, improved traceability for statutory auditors, greater productivity (notably significant time saved on capital assets and notes to the financial statements) and supported more than 10 users on statutory consolidation.
