Folksam, a Swedish insurer, faced slow, error-prone manual processes for annual and Solvency II reporting that threatened timely, reliable disclosures. To modernize the “last mile” of finance it implemented insightsoftware's Certent Disclosure Management (CDM).

insightsoftware’s CDM automated data collection from source systems (including Cognos Controller, TM1 and a central DB2), applied validation rules, generated XBRL tags and provided workflow visibility. The solution enabled about 45 contributors across seven group companies to produce reports about 40% faster on average, cut hours of manual validation, improved data accuracy and reduced operating expenses while simplifying ongoing Solvency II and regulatory reporting.
