EURONICS Deutschland eG, one of Germany’s largest consumer electronics cooperatives, needed to meet its first consolidation obligation in 2016 and create reliable group financial statements quickly and with minimal internal effort. To address this challenge, the company partnered with insightsoftware and implemented IDL Konsis, with SAP connected via an interface for automated reporting.

With insightsoftware’s IDL Konsis and expert consultancy, EURONICS consolidated 9 companies in accordance with HGB, simplified intercompany consolidation, and gained better visibility into discrepancies through individual accounting entries in the system. As a result, the annual financial statement is now ready for review within three to four weeks, and insightsoftware delivered a scalable, future-proof consolidation process that supports the cooperative’s growth.
