EnterCard Complies with Swedish XBRL Mandates While Improving Reporting Efficiency and Accuracy Processes

EnterCard, a joint venture between Barclays and Swedbank serving 1.7 million customers across Norway, Sweden and Denmark, faced a new Swedish XBRL mandate that made its manual reporting processes untenable. To meet the urgent June 2015 deadline they chose insightsoftware’s Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) to generate XBRL files and support faster, cloud-deployable reporting.

With implementation partner Addedo, EnterCard deployed Certent CDM in just two and a half weeks to produce quarterly XBRL filings and redesign its annual bilingual and subsidiary reports. insightsoftware’s CDM delivered measurable benefits: faster report production (freeing time for financial analysis), a single validated data source that reduced errors and duplicated work across Swedish and English versions, and earlier validation that significantly lowered reporting stress while ensuring FSA compliance.
