Methven China, a manufacturing subsidiary, struggled with slow, fragmented reporting—creating reports in a timely manner was hampered by limitations of Management Reporter and Excel add-ins and a lack of templates for Royal users. Director of Finance Leslie Deng, running Dynamics AX, evaluated and selected insightsoftware’s Atlas to address these issues.

insightsoftware implemented Atlas to remove disparate static Excel sheets, provide live data access, enable Excel uploads and simplify data migration, and streamline extraction from Dynamics AX, month‑end close, management/board reporting and cross‑functional reports. As a result Methven China freed 50–100 hours per year, reduced IT support costs, improved data validation and tactical analysis, and increased reporting efficiency, according to Leslie Deng.
