Darlington Borough Council's Public Health team, a small group operating in a resource-constrained environment, sought to strengthen team effectiveness, improve communication, and increase measurable collaboration. To address this challenge, the council partnered with vendor Insights to utilize their Discovering Team Effectiveness programme.

Insights implemented a two-workshop solution, beginning with a virtual session to introduce their language of colour energies using the Insights Discovery Personal Profile. A subsequent in-person workshop focused on applying this for team effectiveness. The results were significant, with 87.5% of the team feeling more able to handle interpersonal tension and 100% feeling better equipped to adapt their style to connect with others. Insights helped drive a measurable 87.5% boost in relationship skills, leading to strong collaboration.
