Training organization helps veterans with disabilities launch new careers

Veterans Assembled Electronics (VAe) is a Rhode Island education provider that helps veterans with service-related disabilities transition into electromechanical careers through its immersive STRAC® training and wraparound support, including dedicated Veteran Advocates. As demand grew and the organization prepared to open additional offices, VAe’s decentralized system of spreadsheets became unmanageable, making it difficult to track individual veteran relationships, certifications, and placements.

VAe implemented Insightly CRM to centralize contact and project management, mirror its veteran support workflow, track interviews and certifications, and manage opportunity pipelines. The system streamlined lead generation, client training, and job placement, improved data visibility for stakeholders and VA counselors, and supported VAe’s expansion—enabling several new offices, over a dozen hires, and more efficient reporting on placement outcomes.
