InsightAtlast, LLC helped Midwest Energy, Inc., a consumer-owned electric and natural gas utility serving central and western Kansas, manage field work across a vast, remote service area. The company needed a reliable mobile solution that could keep technicians productive even when connectivity was limited, while supporting growing order volumes and integrations with its Cayenta CIS.

Using SOSMobile, including SOSRemote, SOSDispatch, SOSMobile Server, and Email Monitor, InsightAtlast, LLC enabled Midwest Energy to download and close service orders electronically in the field, automate 811 line locate email notifications into work orders, and attach documents and images from both office and field. The result was smoother dispatching, real-time updates when connectivity was available, and increased efficiency for more than 80 service technicians handling 50,000 electric meters and 42,000 gas meters.
