Plantronics, working with Insight, wanted to create a Netherlands office that would improve employee wellness and productivity while reducing the noise and distraction common in open workspaces. The challenge was to design a balanced environment where people could collaborate, concentrate, and maintain confidentiality in the same building, using tools such as Plantronics audio solutions and the Habitat Soundscaping service.

Insight helped Plantronics implement a living lab that combines biophilic design, acoustic architecture, ceiling-mounted sensors, and intelligent soundscaping software to manage noise dynamically. The result is an immersive, more productive workspace that encourages flexible use of the office, supports focus and collaboration, and helps solve one of the biggest complaints in open-plan workplaces: noise.
