How Insight’s Managed Security for Compliance service provided a cost-effective path to compliance for one such organization

Interactive Process Technology Associates (IPT) is a veteran-owned professional services company that contracts with the federal government. To keep winning contracts, IPT needed to meet new cybersecurity compliance requirements, including CMMC Level 2, but lacked the internal security resources and budget to hire the necessary expertise. Insight helped them leverage their existing Microsoft 365 E5 environment, along with Managed Office 365 and Managed Security for Compliance services, to address the challenge.

Insight identified IPT’s security and compliance gaps and created a roadmap to remediate, manage, and maintain the needed controls for compliance. The solution enabled IPT to achieve CMMC Level 2 alignment without upgrading to GCC or GCC High, while delivering security capabilities equivalent to nearly 3 full-time employees at a fraction of the cost. Insight also helped uncover user vulnerabilities through phishing campaigns and remedial training, strengthening IPT’s overall security posture.
