Insight helped a leading manufacturing and sustainability conglomerate improve employee experience and streamline onboarding and device support during a period of global scale and supply chain pressure. The customer was looking for a shortage-resistant, scalable way to manage device requests and IT operations, and turned to Insight for a vendor-agnostic Device as a Service (DaaS) solution, along with Microsoft OneDrive for Business.
Insight implemented a flexible, global DaaS model that integrated with the customer’s existing ITSM, added self-service device requests and tracking, and shifted procurement away from internal IT. As a result, the company reduced device delivery times by up to 60% in some countries, filled about 89,000 devices during the pandemic, improved onboarding and EX, and saved tens of thousands of dollars through more responsive procurement and reduced IT workload.
