A Fast Data Center Rebuild for an International Aerospace Corporation Post-Divestiture

International Aerospace Corporation, an international aerospace services provider, faced an urgent post-divestiture challenge: it needed to quickly move off its parent company’s infrastructure, replace aging network and data center dependencies, and complete an Active Directory migration while keeping business operations running. Insight’s Cloud + Data Center Transformation (CDCT) team was brought in to help with the transition, including consulting, migration services, SD-WAN design and implementation, and cloud strategy support.

Insight designed and deployed a near-greenfield data center and remote-site environment with Cisco-based SD-WAN, security, storage, and core infrastructure. The company stood up its primary data center and two remote locations within a week of each other, then onboarded the remaining 40 sites using zero-touch provisioning, supporting more than 4,200 endpoints. The result was a modern, scalable, and fully independent infrastructure with improved reliability, visibility, control, and data protection for the customer.
