The Harvard Alumni Association needed a sophisticated digital presence to promote the exclusive Harvard Alumni Credit Card to a target pool of roughly 400,000 alumni. inSegment was engaged for digital branding, website development and promotion to create an innovative, premium online experience that would capture alumni pride and clearly communicate the card’s exclusive benefits.
inSegment built a fully responsive, Drupal-based website optimized for mobile and tablet users and ran quarterly email marketing campaigns to over 180,000 graduates. The work delivered measurable results: monthly traffic rose 200% in the first eight months; the summer 2014 email open rate hit 25% (versus a 15% industry average); site visits increased 12%, bounce rate fell 10%, and new visits rose 13%.
