Travix, the largest online travel company in the Netherlands, needed a faster way to manage complex flight selection, route, airline partner, and pricing rules across its brands while maximizing profitability. The company worked with InRule and its rule engine to replace static rules with a more flexible, transparent approach for business users and developers.

Using InRule, Travix implemented rule engine calls for flight selection and fare calculations, and business users were able to quickly model and update commission contracts and fare rules. The rollout delivered strong performance on high-volume traffic, including more than five million searches per day with 2MB datasets, and Travix completed a soft launch in four months and a full rollout across all sites in ten months.
