A InRule Case Study

Preview of the Hong Kong Based Healthcare Company Case Study

A Hong Kong Based Healthcare Company Combines Three Proven Technologies to Deliver Flexibility and Power

Hong Kong Based Healthcare Company, a global healthcare provider serving more than 32 million customers in 190 countries, needed a more flexible way to launch and test new insurance products through a new partnership with Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong. The company wanted an architecture that could work with its legacy system while giving business teams more configurability across products, markets, pricing, and underwriting. InRule was the vendor involved, providing its business rules management system as part of the solution.

InRule designed a reference architecture that combined InRule BRMS with Microsoft Azure and Dynamics CRM, enabling the healthcare company to pull data from its legacy system while letting business users manage rules for eligibility, limits, pricing, and discounts without code. The new system went live in less than six months and helped speed customer onboarding, improve efficiency, enhance the customer experience, reduce time-to-market, and deliver ongoing cost savings.
