Unigro Improves Customer Experience with inRiver

Unigro is a Belgian retailer of furniture, appliances, linen and more that wanted to improve its customer experience as e‑commerce demand grew. Facing a new ERP rollout and the limitations of storing product data in its CMS, Unigro selected the Inriver PIM solution to serve as a best‑of‑breed product information management system and support multi‑channel publishing.

Inriver was implemented as Unigro’s single source of product truth: products are created and enriched in Inriver, approved via configurable workflows, then pushed to the ERP, webshop and Adobe InDesign for print catalogs. The deployment included two‑way supplier onboarding, nightly GfK data imports, cross‑sell relationships and automated publishing, giving Unigro tighter data control, fewer errors and faster catalog production. Today Unigro manages about 20,000 products in Inriver across 2 languages with 45 users and produces more than 20 catalogs annually from the platform.
