Royal Brass & Hose - Customer Case Study

Royal Brass & Hose, a family-owned distributor of hydraulic hoses, fittings and fabrication with $70M in annual revenue, faced low digital maturity as it shifted to e-commerce: its ERP held incomplete and inconsistent product data, new product onboarding was error-prone and manual, and the marketing team lacked a taxonomy or centralized content. To address this, Royal Brass & Hose adopted Inriver’s product information management (PIM) solution to centralize and govern product data for digital channels.

Inriver was implemented as the single source of product truth, and within weeks RB&H had 2,200 products and 25,000 parts/items in the PIM (scalable to ~90,000). A fixed connector exports about eight ERP fields into Inriver, enabling mass exports and bulk updates in minutes instead of days, and reducing customer product-data exports from three–four weeks to minutes. RB&H is expanding Inriver usage across sales, cataloging and syndication and plans to populate a new Virto e-commerce site from the PIM.
