Procurator is a Swedish B2B distributor of protective gear, workwear, cleaning products and office supplies operating across the Nordics with about 30,000 products in range. Facing a competitive market and customers with little time, Procurator needed to make product information easily editable, SEO-friendly and highly searchable, so it invited vendors to tender and selected Inriver’s PIM platform (Inriver PIM) as the core product-information solution.

Procurator implemented Inriver PIM in 2013 and launched a revamped e-commerce site in 2014, integrating the PIM with Avensia’s e‑commerce server, Apptus, Umbraco CMS and a Shoppa connector by Kodexe; translation workflows were automated via XLIFF and Amesto. The Inriver-based solution automated product-data management for 30,000 SKUs, improved site searchability so customers find items more quickly, enabled fast production of customer-specific PDFs and catalogs, and made it easier to detect and correct product-data discrepancies.
