OEM International AB, a Swedish distributor of industrial and technical components operating in 14 markets, needed a more modern, user‑friendly system to structure highly varied product information (from simple ball bearings to complex transmissions), manage different asset types, and support multi‑language needs for both digital and printed channels. To meet these requirements they moved from their legacy PIM to Inriver’s PIM platform.
Inriver migrated OEM’s existing data, integrated the PIM with surrounding systems, and delivered a faster, more accessible tool used by about 170 product specialists and marketing managers. As a result Inriver helped OEM centralize product information, feed over 15 websites, print catalogs in 14 languages, accelerate e‑commerce and speed up launches of new product areas — improving enrichment workflows and providing a clear competitive advantage that is driving sales.
