Nederman, a Swedish manufacturer of industrial air-filtration solutions with over 70 years of experience, needed to simplify commerce for distribution partners by building an online store and standardizing product information. Managing 350 products and more than 7,000 part numbers without a PLM/PDM system left them with inconsistent layouts across hundreds of data sheets and PDFs, so they turned to Inriver for a Product Information Management (PIM) solution.
Inriver’s PIM was integrated with Sitecore CMS, the U-commerce platform and Nederman’s ERP to create a unified enterprise solution supporting sales and marketing. The Inriver-driven implementation made it faster to produce and publish product content, cut costs by reducing the people needed to manage product data, and enabled quicker, more accurate communication with supply chain partners and distributors.
