Manfrotto, Part of the Vitec Group, Saves Hours Every Time They Bring a New Product to Market

Manfrotto Group, part of the Vitec Group, designs and sells camera and lighting support equipment worldwide and needed to manage diverse product information across multiple online channels and marketplaces. Facing differing channel requirements and the need for accurate, consistent data, Manfrotto worked with an implementation partner to deploy Inriver’s PIM solution to centralize and standardize product content.

By using Inriver PIM as the single repository, Manfrotto consolidated some 20,000 products, enforced structure, and gained flexibility (including the move to the Specifications feature) so only relevant information is shown per item. The solution cut the time to generate new product information to 2–3 hours (rather than many more), saves hours each time a product is launched, and makes it easy to tailor descriptions for channels like eBay and Amazon.
