Intersport Sverige AB, one of Sweden’s largest sports retailers with 150 stores and part of Intersport International Corporation, needed to get comprehensive product information into a new e-commerce channel so online shoppers could find both in- and out-of-season products. To address this challenge they turned to Inriver and implemented inriver PIM to centralize and prepare product data for their new website.
Inriver integrated inriver PIM with Episerver Commerce and legacy systems to create a single system of record, improving availability of all assortments, automating many tasks and eliminating information silos. The Inriver solution simplified product storytelling for marketing, enabled omnichannel selling, enriched the product range and measurably improved product marketing and sales results by making accurate, up-to-date product information available across channels.
