Vestas, a global leader in wind turbines and sustainable energy solutions, faced a challenge scaling and streamlining product information for its Shop.Vestas.com spare‑parts marketplace. With roughly 25,000 SKUs and manual SAP‑to‑webshop processes, Vestas needed a single source of truth and an automated, scalable catalog as part of its digital transformation — so it selected the Inriver PIM platform.
Using the Inriver PIM platform (deployed on Microsoft Azure and implemented by partner Immeo), Vestas consolidated all technical and commercial product data, automated workflows from SAP to Episerver, and enriched listings with texts, images and specs. The result: online assortments grew from 25,000 to 80,000 products, a single point of truth for product data, immediate efficiency gains in processes, and a consistently updated e‑commerce catalog that improved customer and internal service experiences.
