Spaas Kaarsen, a leading candle manufacturer in Belgium, needed a way to unify product information for retailers and online sellers. Previously, teams relied on spreadsheets, ERP data, and network drives, making it slow and difficult to provide accurate, complete candle details such as color, materials, and burn time. Inriver, working with implementation partner Ctac, helped Spaas replace this fragmented process with a central product information foundation.
Using Inriver’s PIM platform, along with the Content Store and Print app, Spaas centralized all product data in one system and enabled retailers to self-download up-to-date information instantly. The result was automated catalog production, consistent product representation across channels, and real-time updates across linked systems. Inriver also helped Spaas lay the groundwork for future website automation and GS1 data pool integration, reducing time to market.
