To support their digital transformation and scalable commerce strategy, Prysmian Group selected Inriver’s product information management (PIM) SaaS solution and spent ten months building a robust, flexible data model to harmonize product descriptions, media, certifications and translations.
Inriver centralized Prysmian Group’s product information into a single source of truth, enabling global user adoption, streamlined exports (datasheets, web catalogs, BMEcat, HTML) and faster, consistent communications across channels. The Inriver PIM is now live across 20 countries in Europe (with North America expansion in 2021 and global rollout planned for 2022), covers standard, data and special cables, and delivered measurable benefits including improved speed to market, stronger brand awareness, higher customer loyalty and a more scalable, resilient data platform.
