Ethan Allen, a major furniture manufacturer and retailer with hundreds of design centers worldwide, faced a failing digital asset management system and needed a digital re-platforming. Employees struggled to deliver product content quickly, efficiently, and accurately, and print and creative workflows were inefficient. To centralize and standardize product information, Ethan Allen turned to Inriver product information management (PIM).
Inriver implemented its PIM and integrated it with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, JD Edwards, and the MicroD furniture configurator, delivering a more flexible data model and a single source of truth for product data. As a result, Inriver now feeds Ethan Allen’s website and syndicates content to Amazon, allowing one-time updates that automatically propagate across divisions and channels, dramatically speeding content updates and streamlining marketing and creative processes.
