Mercury Marine, the world’s leading manufacturer of recreational marine propulsion engines, faced fragmented product information across acquired divisions with unsupported legacy PIMs and siloed data that prevented consistent standards and cross-brand transparency. To centralize product data, Mercury Marine implemented inriver PIM (integrated with Adobe AEM DAM and Adobe Magento) as their master product information platform.

inriver delivered a flexible, scalable data model that gives the parent brand ownership of core attributes while allowing brand-specific content, aggregates inbound data into a single ingestion point, and enables bi-directional integration with Adobe AEM. The solution united all business units on a common PIM and improved marketing asset management across 6+ brand websites, supplied product content to 20+ dealers, and fed over 25 brand catalogs, producing measurable efficiencies in web, portal, and print publishing.
