How a product information management (PIM) solution helped Hendi modernize their processes and enhance their website introducing efficiencies and cost savings

Hendi, a European supplier of cooking equipment and catering supplies, faced a manual, non‑scalable sales process: their website provided information only, orders arrived by email, phone or fax and product data lived in a database that couldn’t keep up with growing e‑commerce needs. To modernize and enable omnichannel commerce, Hendi selected the Inriver product information management (PIM) solution.

Inriver (implemented with partner XSARUS) was rolled out in under four months to create a single source of truth, migrating approximately 3,000 SKUs (1,700 products) in 73 languages with ~10,000 images and documents, and integrated with ERP and Magento Commerce Cloud B2B. The result: automated order handling and customer self‑service, lower processing costs per order, faster website and catalog updates, accurate and complete product information, and reduced time spent on sales conditions and content updates.
