Coop Norge deploys inRiver PIM for consistent product information across touchpoints

Coop Norge Faghandel, the non-food division of Coop Norge, was struggling with inconsistent, siloed product information across B2B and B2C channels as it expanded e‑commerce and other touchpoints — a problem that contributed to 39% of customers leaving stores without buying because key information was missing. To centralize and enrich product data and ensure smooth integration with their existing Episerver platform and SAP systems, they selected Inriver and its PIM solution.

By deploying Inriver PIM and connecting it to Episerver, SAP MDM/ECC and their media store, Coop Norge Faghandel consolidated content creation into a single team and has enriched 40,000 SKUs for 12,000 products (targeting 60,000 by end of 2017). Inriver enabled consistent product information across web, print, posters and B2B channels, faster time‑to‑market, greater content reuse (weekly flyer production dropped from six to four people), and improved efficiency and quality without adding headcount.
