Managing taxonomy across legacy systems for more than 40,000 SKUs created duplication and inefficiency. To solve this, Black Box selected Inriver’s Product Information Management (PIM) solution to centralize and standardize product data and integrate it with their website CMS and enterprise ERP.

Inriver implemented a centralized PIM that consolidated 40,000 SKUs, integrated product data with the CMS and ERP, and enabled partners to access product information through a supplier portal. The solution produced 24 country-specific localized content variations, reduced data‑supply applications from six to three, and cut supply-chain processing time by 80%, delivering measurable cost and efficiency improvements for Black Box.
