Checkers & Rally’s, the largest double drive-thru restaurant chain in the U.S. with 800 locations and about 7,000 employees, wanted to strengthen employee engagement but lacked a reliable system to collect and act on staff feedback. With a small HR team and only ad hoc paper surveys previously, leadership needed a partner to manage survey creation, distribution, and reporting across corporate, support center and franchise crews.

Inquisium’s Professional Services Group ran bilingual annual engagement surveys (plus mid‑year pulse checks and recognition voting), handled design and distribution to all 7,000 employees, and delivered executive and local reports for managers. By using those insights to adjust pay transparency, career paths and development initiatives, engagement rose from 40% in 2011 to 50% in 2013 — outperforming Gallup’s industry average by three percentage points.
