Lee Health, the largest hospital operator in Southwest Florida, wanted to improve the patient experience at its new Coconut Point campus and differentiate itself in a more competitive market. After struggling to build indoor wayfinding internally, the health system needed an experienced partner with an open, scalable indoor mapping and positioning platform that could support patient navigation now and future use cases across its network.
Inpixon provided indoor mapping and real-time location technology for Lee Health’s hospital app, along with turn-by-turn blue dot navigation, directions, and searchable points of interest. Using Inpixon’s indoor mapping platform and a third-party positioning system, Lee Health launched the enhanced app in about one month, improved patient wayfinding and engagement, and laid the groundwork for future expansion to other hospitals, geofencing, shuttle management, find-my-car features, and asset tracking.
