A InPhase Case Study
Derbyshire County Council, a local authority with around 13,000 employees and a budget over £500m, had outgrown a legacy performance system and needed a more dynamic, user‑friendly solution. They engaged InPhase to deliver a modern performance management platform that would improve data visualisation, break down departmental silos, reduce double keying, automate back‑end data feeds and give services access to transaction‑level and aggregated helicopter views.
InPhase worked through service workshops to define key indicators and automated data sources, then delivered interactive push reporting, exception alerts, quarterly helicopter reports, departmental performance clinics and an annual report. The InPhase platform cut manual data entry, improved timeliness, depth and confidence in data, enabled faster, better decisions, supported benchmarking against other councils and uncovered calculation anomalies that led to aligned national benchmarking.
