Sugarloaf, Maine partnered with Inntopia, using Inntopia Marketing Cloud to tackle stagnant social followings among its guests. The resort’s challenge was to identify database guests who weren’t following Sugarloaf on Twitter and convert them into social media fans while also promoting their self-hosted social hub, the "BlueRoom."
Using Inntopia Marketing Cloud, Sugarloaf deployed an automated daily email campaign that only targeted guests who didn’t follow the resort on Twitter, driving awareness of the BlueRoom and all social accounts. The Inntopia-powered campaign nearly doubled Twitter follower growth—an increase of 92.3%—and boosted traffic and engagement across Sugarloaf’s social profiles.
