Hilton Head Island Visitor & Convention turned to Inntopia’s DestiMetrics reporting in 2007 to address a key intelligence gap: traditional STR destination reports only captured hotel performance, while roughly two-thirds of the island’s lodging inventory are non-hotel properties (condominiums and private homes). The DMO needed a more complete view of all paid guests to understand month-to-month and year-over-year performance across the destination.

Inntopia’s DestiMetrics team built a Homes & Villas RAO and combined it with STR data to create a custom “2 Source Report” that consolidates hotel and non-hotel metrics and provides year-over-year to-date measurements of the primary lodging indicators.
