true[X] wanted to help marketers increase viewer engagement and time spent with their brands by giving audiences more choice in how they interact with video ads. To support this goal, true[X] partnered with Innovid to explore choice-based, interactive ad formats that could provide a more immersive and memorable viewing experience.
Innovid implemented choice-based ads that let viewers choose between an interactive ad and a traditional ad break, using existing video and image assets to drive engagement. The results were strong: nearly 60% of viewers opted in and completed the interaction, and viewers spent 2X more time in the ad. Performance was especially notable on Roku (151%), Apple TV (93%), and Smart TV (37%).
