Seagull Scientific, working with Innovatum, helped a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer solve a highly manual and error-prone labeling process. The company was managing more than 5,000 individual label files across sites, entering data directly into label templates, and sharing files by email, creating auditability, version control, and compliance risks under regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11.

Innovatum implemented the ROBAR enterprise label management system with BarTender label software from Seagull Scientific. The new solution centralized label management into just 60 templates, automatically merged validated ERP/PLM/serialization data at print time, and added secure workflows, role-based access, audit trails, and electronic signature support. As a result, the company reduced user error, improved compliance, sped up label changes across the enterprise, and created a scalable foundation for serialization and traceability requirements.
