EDIWatch, Inc., a leading provider of antifraud solutions for health care payers and creator of the SPOT (Systematic Profiling on Time) fraud‑detection application, was struggling with a legacy sort tool that lacked cross‑platform compatibility, had restrictive licensing and required different expertise and parameters on different systems (Windows, Linux, IBM AIX).
