I- Centrix is a CRM application service provider that manages customer-centric data integration, analysis and warehousing for industries like banking, catalog marketing and higher education, routinely processing tens to hundreds of gigabytes. Facing slow and inflexible segmentation using Oracle SQL alone, I- Centrix selected CoSORT from Innovative Routines International (IRI) to meet high-performance sorting and complex data-manipulation needs for their segmentation engine.
Innovative Routines International (IRI) integrated CoSORT (via its sortcl language and thread-safe API) into I- Centrix’s segmentation workflow, enabling fast joins, aggregations and inline calculations with minimal development effort. The result: I- Centrix produces full customer segmentations in a fraction of the time compared with Oracle alone, achieved better performance than the main competitor, lowered costs and benefited from strong IRI support and documentation.
