CoSort Combines Data Transformation and Security for AIM Healthcare

AiM, a leading claims‑cost management services provider serving thousands of hospitals and payers, faced a complex ETL challenge: its Data Transformation Team processed very large, varied incoming file formats (COBOL, fixed‑width, EBCDIC, EDI, etc.) using a proprietary C# pipeline and third‑party sorters, which produced inefficient, error‑prone code and made reliable obfuscation of HIPAA data for outsourced work difficult.
